What is the advantage to hosting an event at my house or place of business?

• If you host an event in your home you earn 10% of the total amount purchased. If you host an event at your business, church or other organization you earn 15% of total the total amount purchased which could go to the host or directly to your organization. Host fees are paid on the spot at the end of the event.

What is required from me when hosting an event?

• Approximately two weeks prior to your event we deliver promotional materials needed for your event. You use the flyers and posters to generate interest with your clients, customers or invited guests. Remember, the more excitement you can generate the larger your host fee. We arrive fifteen minutes prior to your event and set up our equipment in an area of your choice. We only require a 110v/120v,AC outlet to plug in our lights. If there are several guests or customers waiting to have their items checked it is helpful to have the host manage a sign-up list. We do the rest!

How much do you pay for gold?

• Our payouts are based on current market price as it applies to individual karat weight and the weight of the item.

What if the ring or necklace I bring in contains stones that I wish to keep?

• While we don’t buy stones, we will attempt to remove them at your request. In most cases stones are fairly easy to remove but we cannot guarantee they will not be damaged during removal.   

Do you buy silver flatware, trays, tea sets etc?

• We buy silver as long as it is marked .925 or Sterling.

I have a bunch of old jewelry that I inherited how do I know if it is real gold?

• Bring that box or bag of jewelry in and we will check it while you watch. After sorting the gold and silver from the costume jewelry we will give you an estimate of its value and you can decide if you want to sell.

Do you buy watches?

• If your watch tests positive for gold we will give you an estimate of its value minus the estimated weight of the non-gold timekeeping components. If you decide to sell we will dismantle the watch remove the non gold components and weigh the remaining gold parts to determine the sale price.

Do you buy coins?

• We will purchase most US coins. We check gold coins from other countries for gold content and pay the gold value for that karat weight of gold.
